On July 18, 2017, the Board of Directors for Bulverde Spring Branch Emergency Services voted unanimously, upon recommendation by President/CEO Mechelle Salmon, to approve forming a new 501(c)(3) corporation for the cEHS function, to be independent of the existing organization, subject to a detailed plan to be presented to the board. The H.I.S. Centre non-profit also transitioned to the inclusion of our Community Health Program, and our Wellness on Wheels (W.O.W.) mobile classroom and lab.
